Estee Lauder Fall Gift With Purchase 2013

Estee Lauder's gift with purchase starts today, October 15th and it is pretty great gift. If you spend $35 or more, you get an awesome 7-piece gift. Keep in mind that this gift is going on at Younkers, Elder-Beerman, Carson's, Herberger's, Bergner's, Boston Store, and Bon-Ton. Other department store have gifts at other times during the year.

There are two options as to which gift you will receive: subtle or bold. I have both pictured below along with descriptions and swatches. Take a look!

This cosmetic bag, which comes with either gift, is one of the best makeup bags I've seen a cosmetic line come out with in a while. I am slightly bias because I am obsessed with purple, but I do really love the color scheme with the blue and brown as well. It is fun and different than all the other makeup bags I have.

Advanced Night Repair comes in both gifts as well. It is a serum that reduces major signs of visible aging. It can also help with prevention of fine lines and wrinkles. I have heard good things about it, but haven't actually tried it yet.

The Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Foam Cleanser/Purifying Mask can be used as a regular cleanser to wash your face and it can also be used as a mask. You would put it on dry skin, wait three minutes, and then wash it off to use as a mask. This is in both gifts as well.

Both gifts also come with the Sumptuous Mascara in Black. This mascara is supposed to give lashes big volume. I have tried this mascara and it makes lashes pop without making them clumpy.

The eyeliner in the bold gift is the Pure Color Intense Kajal Eyeliner in Blackened Plum. This liner is very pigmented and smooth. I have tried these liners before as well and they are pretty good, but they do start to smudge a bit on me after a few hours of wear. This shade is a deep purple.

The lipstick in the bold gift is a Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Blushing. This lipstick is meant to be long lasting (obviously), vivid, and fade resistant. The color is a vibrant berry shade. I love the packaging for the lipstick. I like when gifts have a color scheme not just with the bag but with the products as well.

Top to Bottom: Iridescent Violet, Hot Cinnamon, Amethyst Spark, Sugar Cube
Side Note: Sorry about the quality of the swatch pictures. I had to swatch everything on my right hand because my left has bug bites on it. That means I had to hold the camera and shoot with my left hand, which is not my dominant hand.

Anyway, the eyeshadow quad in the bold gift is made up of the Pure Color Eyeshadows in Sugar Cube, Amethyst Spark, Hot Cinnamon, and Iridescent Violet. These are supposed to be vibrant and long-lasting. The packaging for the eyeshadows is awesome like the packaging for the lipstick. As for the colors, Sugar Cube is satin white. Amethyst Spark is shimmery blue-violet. Hot Cinnamon is a shimmery, deep gold. Iridescent Violet is a satin, taupe-y lilac.

The eyeliner in the subtle gift is the Pure Color Intense Kajal Eyeliner in Blackened Cocoa. It is a deep brown shade.

The lipstick in the subtle gift is the Pure Color Crystal Lipstick in Tiramisu. This lipstick is supposed to be more sheer than the other lipstick, but it is still supposed to be long lasting. Tiramisu is a pink/peach with gold shimmer.

Top to Bottom: Nude Fresco, Ivory Slipper, Nocturnal Blue, Tempting Mocha
The eyeshadows in the subtle gift are Pure Color Eyeshadows in Tempting Mocha, Nocturnal Blue, Ivory Slipper, and Nude Fresco. Tempting Mocha is a shimmery taupe. Nocturnal Blue is a satin, deep blue. Ivory Slipper is a satin ivory (duh). Nude Fresco is a satin, pinkish beige.

There is also what is called a "step-up" gift for this event. If you spend $70 or more, you receive another choice for an extra gift between Advanced Time Zone moisturizer and Advanced Time Zone eye cream for lines and wrinkles or Resilience Lift moisturizer and Resilience Lift eye cream for firming and sculpting.

This gift will be available until November 3rd or until supplies last.
